Holy Spirit’s hallways are bustling with construction workers instead of kids this Fall.  Welcomed into St. Mary’s old school, Holy Spirit remains resilient. We would love your prayers and support.

Structural damage causes were investigated this summer (click here for short video) and we have started on the rebuild. Our plans/dreams for the rebuild include:
~ Rebuilding our hallway
~ Making our restrooms handicap assessible
~ Enhanced safety through electronic locking doors
~ Converting to LED lighting
~ New windows
~ Updating interiors

~September 2, 1951 was the 1st Mass for the new Catholic congregation that became Holy Spirit Catholic Church.  It was held in the cafeteria of Shanley High School.

~1951-1952 School enrollment 140

~1953-1954 School enrollment 278 - almost every child in the parish!

~June 1957:  6 classroom addition to the school

~1962-1963 Construction of Church.  Contractor bid was $441,000

~1984 school enrollment 183
